It's been a while

since I've posted and since I've been in the 260s. I've been there for the last few days and things are going well on the eating front. In the last three weeks, I've lost about 8 lbs thanks to Barb giving me meals with my WW point limit in mind and me join a join by work and getting on the treadmill for 30 minutes everyday. It gives me a nice break during the day at work and clears my mind, even if just for a few minutes.

In seven days, Kristen and I will be arriving in the Bahamas for a week of scuba diving on the live aboard ship, The Aquacat. 27 dives in the warm waters with tons of sea life. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm also excited for Kristen. It will be her first live aboard.

For more frequent updates, please visit my on Twitter or Facebook. I'm there several times a day.

Cavern Diving

My buddy Paul & I just finished up our Cavern Diving course. We had the good fortune of having Dan Patterson as our instructor at Ginnie Springs. He was a very thorough instructor and Ginnie Springs Outdoors has great diving and is a very well-run full-feature operation. We stayed at the Cadillac Hotel in High Springs.

All that I can really say is that I'm tired and learned a lot. We had a great time too. We're now both certified Cavern Divers and are looking forward to many repeat trips to the folks at Ginnie to gain skill and confidence in this new (to us) form of diving.

Working on pictures and fliers

OK, so I have a few hours between church and... church. I'm gonna do a little editing to my dive pictures and then make a couple of fliers for Awana. After Awana, I'm planning a treadmill session followed by hot tubing with Barb. For those keeping score at home, I was 283.4 on the scale this morning.
