as in doctor, not tree herder... anyway, went to see an ENT today. I'm trying to figure out why my right ear is bothersome. He did the whole hearing test, pressure test routine. No ideas. Now I get to go back in a couple of weeks to get my Eustachian tube scoped (fiber optic camera threaded in through my nose and up into my Eustachian tube). Yes, I know, really cool!!! Anyway, that might shed some insight. Until then, I'll just stick with the ibuprofen, prn. It's not diving related (and happily doesn't interfere with my diving in any way), as it's been an intermittent problem that first appeared before my resurgence into diving this year. ENT thinks it may be some type of anatomic anomaly. Bothersome, at worst, nothing serious, I'm sure. I'll keep you posted.
Did I mention?... 4 days from right now, I'll be in the Caymans having dinner on the Cayman Agressor IV, contemplating the first of 27 dives to begin the following morning. Lucky me and thanks to Barb for letting me go have some world-class fun!!!
